Why Acetec PD dehumidifiers?

One advantage of Acetec PD dehumidifier is that of dehumidifier with rotor.

Dehumidifiers are always designed with the right process (dry air) and regeneration flow, volume of sorption material and regeneration effect under a certain condition.

If you change any of these, you also change the function, capacity and energy efficiency, etc. If you get less dry air due to long duct runs, the balance between these important parameters is changed for the best function. Thus, on rotor dehumidifiers, you get more regeneration air when the dry air decreases due to long ducts (higher pressure drop) and thus imbalance. The pressure in the dehumidifier is changed so that dry air flow is transferred to the regeneration side, creating this imbalance. From this, other manufacturers sometimes specify a maximum length of the dry air hose to 3 meters.

On PD dehumidifiers, this occurs in two phases and therefore this imbalance is not created in the same way. The regeneration flow is unchanged in the regeneration phase, but in the dry air phase the dry air flow naturally changes with higher pressure drop. Changes in dry air volume affect capacity but not so much. Pulling 15m hose on the lower connections and 6m on the upper works very well and hardly affects the capacity.
