Acetec först i Sverige med EPD för avfuktare
Acetec has published Environmental Product Declarations, EPDs, for all dehumidifiers in its current range, in the EvoDry and EvoDry Pro series. This makes Acetec the first Swedish manufacturer with published EPDs for dehumidifiers in the International EPD System.
The EPDs cover seven models:
- EvoDry 6H 2.0
- EvoDry RCF 12 G1
- EvoDry RCF 20 G1
- EvoDry 30 Pro
- EvoDry 60 Pro
- EvoDry 120 Pro
- EvoDry 180 Pro
The EvoDry models are mainly used in crawl spaces, garages and cold attics, and EvoDry Pro in warehouses, industrial facilities, archives and other environments that require stable humidity levels. The declarations are third-party verified, comply with EN 15804 and ISO 14025, and report the products’ environmental impact from a life cycle perspective.
For consultants, designers, property owners and buyers, this means that dehumidification can now be accounted for with verified data in climate declarations, environmental certifications and procurement, instead of with generic default values.
Dehumidifiers have long been a blind spot when the environmental impact of buildings is calculated. Our customers are asking for verified data, and now we can deliver it as the first Swedish manufacturer with EPDs for dehumidifiers. We want to be open about the actual impact of our products, and an EPD is the most credible way to show it.
The EPDs are published through the International EPD System and are valid until October 2031. Together with the previously published EPD for the EvoAir A series, Acetec now has verified environmental data for both ventilation and dehumidification.
